My name is Karen and I live in Orange County, California.  My husband and I live in a charming community with our 2 dogs (Winnie & Madison) and our 13 year old cat (Maggie).  Our children are grown.  The oldest son is married and lives in Austin with his lovely wife; our youngest son is busy with his career in website development, still a bachelor.

I’m passionate about my ‘nest’ and love to work around the house decorating, gardening and entertaining.  I seem to have Champagne taste on a beer budget, and not the micro-brewed good stuff.  I hope you’ll visit and stay for a cup of tea.
