My name is Karen and I live in Orange County, California.  My husband and I live in a charming community with our 2 dogs (Winnie & Madison) and our 13 year old cat (Maggie).  Our children are grown.  The oldest son is married and lives in Austin with his lovely wife; our youngest son is busy with his career in website development and engaged to be married in winter 2012.

I’m passionate about my ‘nest’ and love to work around the house decorating, gardening and entertaining.  I seem to have Champagne taste on a beer budget, and not the micro-brewed good stuff.  I hope you’ll visit and stay for a cup of tea.
