On this Christmas Eve, wherever you are, I hope you and yours are warm and comfortable and that you celebrate the season surrounded by those you love.
The cards and packages have been sent…
The tree is trimmed…
I hung holly, pine cones, fir and bulbs on any non-moving object…
{I saved Redfern, our pheasant, the indignity of a Santa hat that Mr. B wanted to put on him.}
The fire is laid, the mantle decorated…
The table is set…
…and I still hear the bell.

Thanks so much. It will be low key today, just Sarah and Kevin for dinner…then on the 27th the Austin contingency arrives (Kyle, Jamie and Olivia). I can hardly wait!
Have fun with your family and I can’t wait to see the “traditional” hat photo sometime in the new year.

A very Merry Christmas to the whole Bunch family! Your house looks so festive. Napa is beautiful but it’s a challenge to make a rented condo look very Christmasy even with poinsettias I brought! This year, even more than usual, it’s all about having our family together. Last year, with the family spread all over the globe and unable to get home, we realized that whenever you’re all together it’s a celebration!
