Our clan is growing. Our youngest son married his beautiful bride in December 2012 at the Los Angeles County Museum of History, Science and Art. The wedding was magical…
…and on October 23, 2014, we were blessed with baby Fae Rosaliind. For Mr. B and me this is a magical time. We are now the proud grandparents of 2 granddaughters! {Girls: 2, Boys: 0}
Sarah’s shower was such a celebration of friendship, given with love by a handful of my dear friends. Most of us have been friends since our children were in grade school. We’ve attended graduations, weddings and now baby showers. This, for me, has been one of life’s best presents, friendships that have stood the test of time!
The beautiful setting for Sarah’s shower was at my friend’s home. Glenys and friends did a beautiful job. {Thank you all!}
Precious packages, all babies are beautiful. But getting to buy dresses, and shoes with sparkles and bows is an experience to delight the senses, especially when you’ve raised boys. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely delighted in my boys. I am an only child so discovering some of the thought processes that go on with boys, as opposed to girls, was eye opening!
{Olivia with Uncle Kevin at the wedding}
Olivia, our first granddaughter, is the perfect mix of sugar and spice. Super hero play time, thanks to her dad, and the innate interest in all things hello kitty and Elsa (Frozen) that most girls enjoy. She is very excited to have a cousin to play with when she visits. We have so much fun!
Congratulations, Kevin and Sarah! Thank you for adding such a welcome addition to the clan. ♥

What a beautiful baby congratulations to everyone . The place settings for the baby shower were pretty enough to grace a magazine cover.

Thank you for stopping by, so nice to have you join in the conversation.

Awwwww x 10,000… not really sure how to translate that sentiment into actual language. Congratulations to your beautiful family!!
p.s.- Glenys’ house? Is, um, nice… I thought you were going to say you were in a private room at a vineyard or something.
p.p.s.- love the wedding/attention to detail– Kevin’s tux/collar jumped out at me

Victoria, Yep, Sarah wanted it clear she was marrying her Mr. Darcy. They pulled it off, it was charming (as in prince?)
Thanks, at 8lbs, 8oz Fae is fun to hold, it doesn’t feel like you could break her!
Glenys’ home is beyond amazing and with the view she has and the surrounds, she could probably plant a few vines and it could be a winery. 🙂 Karen

Congratulations, Karen! I remember that wedding. It was amazing! Such a beautiful family. I’m so happy that you all are growing! Your little girls sure are precious, but, like you, I’m having the best time being a boy mom. Plus, I can barely finagle him into clothes for school. We’d never make it on time if we had to get hair bows and tights on too! Haha! Thanks for sharing. xo Kristy
Karen B. said:
Kristy, So true, my boys were pretty willing to wear what I laid out for them on school days. When Olivia was 2 I was sitting her and she refused to wear what her mommy had give me to have her wear. At 2 she was insistent on wearing what she wanted! Imagine that by age 13? I’m sure there are those that believe girls are easier but I really thought raising boys was very fun and pretty easy. xo, Karen

Just catching up on my reading ….and found your post with your lovely granddaughters! Both are just precious!
Here’s to friends who help! I helped my friends with showers, luncheons, weddings etc for their daughters, who were all older than my one. Finally last year it was payback time! Ha!
