Well, the year is entering it’s final laps. Does time seem to speed by for all of you? It sure does for me.

Hopefully all of you have wonderful plans for a beautiful Thanksgiving day. Maybe you are the chef of the feast, or maybe you’re being entertained by others, either way, I hope you have delicious, sane, enjoyable day!
Since table settings are one of my favorite things to do to get ready for a meal, I thought I’d share with you some of the beautiful tables I’ve found online.

Hi Karen, It goes without saying, you will enjoy your newest little blessing this year. I, too, am eager for Christmas. So different for me to be ready for it before Thanksgiving. sue

Sue,
I wonder if it’s the subliminal work of retailers that has created an eagerness in us for Christmas? 🙂
Enjoy your Thanksgiving, I know you’ll have family and loved ones to enjoy.

Very pretty Karen! I love the pumpkins along with a simple more low key table scape. With all the glitter of light of Christmas ~ it’s nice to have this holiday be a bit more low key.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! xxleslie

I’m really loving the more natural elements used so readily on tables and in all decorations for the season. It’s also pretty easy to find some items for use in the yard. Kind of like going to the proverbial cutting garden for fresh flowers. Hahaha. *Wish I had a cutting garden*. 🙂 Enjoy your week, Leslie. xo, Karen

Beautiful! Particularly the pheasant feathers in the urn – have to try that one. Not sure if one can find pheasants in South Africa though? xx Sharon

Sharon, Try amazon. That is where I bought mine, along with some guinea fowl feathers that are pretty. Isn’t the internet amazing? Enjoy your week, Karen

Karen,
How sweet of you to use the photo of my iron pumpkin! I loved the table settings – especially the two from your house. I’ve always been nuts about your Audun dishes and I’ve also become a sucker for white pumpkins. Hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Karen B. said:
Thanks, Linda. I thought your iron pumpkin was so unique. Sorry the picture wasn’t a little more details but I think folks will get the idea. Thank you for letting me share it. You too, Thanksgiving is all I can think about this week, turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy—yummy. xo, Karen

Hi Karen, Love the different color schemes and how they each play off their centerpieces. Your table runner is perfect with your dishes and candlesticks.
Thanks again for a fun girls’ outing yesterday!

Vicki, There are always so many possibilities where table setting is concerned. You would think at some point you can no longer be surprised and impressed with all the creative ideas out there, but I never cease to be amazed.
It was such a pleasure meeting you on Sunday. We’ll have to do another get together next year! xo, Karen

The iron pumpkin is a great idea! It’s cat proof! I bought a bunch of little art glass ones last year, and the cats immediately busted off their delicate curly stems!! (I love my cats, I love my cats …)
Have a wonderful family Thanksgiving, Karen!! –D’Arcy

D’Arcy, My friend, who has the iron pumpkin, (who coincidentally lives in your neck of the woods) has a cat as well. I’ll have to ask her if that played into her creative table set up! 🙂 Have a lovely Thanksgiving. xo, Karen

Oh Karen, if I could, I’d shrink myself down to the size of a fairy, and visit ALL of the Thanksgiving tables I’ve seen…they are all so gorgeous and welcoming. LOVE! And thank you so much for coming by to visit….happy week! Anita

Anita, There is a design center here in Orange County that hosts a table setting show every year. Designers come in and perform their magic on the beautiful dining tables in many of the showrooms. It’s always fun…but being able to fly around to each home one knows has a wonderful table set could be good too! 🙂 Enjoy your Thanksgiving. xo, Karen

I’ve been away, (and just let my email pile up to the point where I may never dig out.) After your last year’s Thanksgiving tablescapes I made a mental note to order some fancy/funky pumpkin seeds, but then utterly forgot until now. I think they make the most interesting centerpieces!!
Have a wonderful day with your newest addition… Happy Thanksgiving!

Victoria, Don’t even try to get through that mound, it’s that time of year where we all have more on our lists than we should and probably know it’s a lost cause…we can all start fresh in January. Hahaha. I hope you and Paul have plans to celebrate with family this Thanksgiving and that we can expect some wonderful posts in December from you, my talented, most fun friend. 🙂 xo, Karen

I’m like you, Karen. This year has flown by! It has been such a fantastic one that I’m a little sad for it to be coming to the close. But at least we have one of the most fun months to look forward to before we kiss it good-bye! I love all the table settings. So gorgeous and turkey-perfect. Have a happy Thanksgiving, sweetie! xo Kristy

Karen, your table settings were so pretty it made me wish that I was hosting Thanksgiving this year (although it was nice being the sous chef instead!)

I’ve handed down my toque and it feels pretty good to take direction rather than mastermind the entire operation. You and I will have to content ourselves with decorating the table for our little dinner parties! 🙂 xo, Karen
