Another year has flown by. I’ve worked hard this year on living in the moment and it has been helpful, even if sometimes I forget to do just that.
I don’t do resolutions anymore but I like the idea of selecting a word that can provide you with a course towards something you’d like to strive for. Goals seem somehow easier to stick with than a long list of homework for the soul. Do you make resolutions?
Again, the opportunity has come to start off with our best. Make sure all the 365 pages of your book are worth the writing; as well publishing for. ― Kaushal Yadav
I wish you all a happy, healthy and joyous new year to come. I feel a kindred spirit towards you and you all make this blog-biz a fun journey.

And a very Happy New Year to you too! I am not much for resolutions either. I just try to focus on enjoying each day. I think age affects what we wish for in our lives. I am more philosophic these days! 🙂 Thanks for being a friend, and faithful reader of my little blog. Sheila

Karen,
I like your idea of adopting a *word* to steer the course for the new year! It worked for me last year. I enjoy your posts because I’m in SoCal also….and get ideas, especially from your garden. Happy New Year to you!

Hi Ann, I may have to wait until spring to post about the garden. The wind and cold has kept me out this week! 🙂 Unusual for us, right? I’m so happy for your visits. xo, Karen

Happy New Year, Karen! I’m with you, this year. I’m doing something sort of different. Still intentional but focusing on how I want to feel not what I want to achieve. Can’t wait for another year of your beautiful posts! xo Kristy

I’m with you, Debra. Age has brought the wisdom of tackling improvements on a day by day system as opposed to a sweeping list of ‘waiting to be broken’ resolutions. hahaha. I truly must manage a visit to your neck of the woods one day for a face to face lunch and visit! xo Karen

Wishing you a marvelously happy and healthy new year Karen. No, I do not make resolutions any more (too many failures in the past), but I love your idea of picking a word. I’ll give that one a little thought, thank you.
Looking forward to more of your posts in 2015.

CD, The word thing sure simplifies the process. I hope that by focusing on a word that, for me, reminds me of the idea is helpful. I too look forward to every email that tells me of a new post for your site. I’m headed over now to read your most recent post. xo, Karen

Happy 2015, Karen! I do not make resolutions. I do like to plan and make goals, and I’ve found that monthly goals are helpful.
I also like the idea of choosing a word, sort of like a theme for the year. Have you chosen one? I’m still thinking about it….
Karen B. said:
Hi RJ, I’m going to use the word abundance…I feel blessed with the abundance in my life and hope to remind myself of that when things become challenging. The monthly personal goal is really something I do almost every month. The quest to be a better person, body and mind, is ongoing. 🙂 Let me know if you select a word. xo, Karen

Karen, I love the idea of chosing a “word” to focus on for 2015. After all the many years of making resolutions, we must be darned near perfect by now! After trying to settle on a word, I think I may need a phrase instead of one word. How could I think of anything better than the quote you used?
Happy New Year, my friend. May to be a fulfilling year for all of us!
XO, Gretchen

Gretchen, I selected a dual purpose word…I’ll let you know how that works out for me. 🙂 xo, Karen

Karen, I no longer make resolutions so the idea of a “word” to focus on seems ideal to me . . . or as Gretchen said, a phrase might work better for me.
Best Wishes for a very Happy New Year for the entire Bunch family. May 2015 bring us all health and happiness.
